Folding Knife Case Kit

(PRESALE - Shipping begins June 5th)

This classy looking belt case is the perfect way to carry the Buck 110 Folding Hunter.  The Buck 110 is a classic EDC and a reliable sidekick on any adventure.  This fun DIY project teaches you some essential leather crafting skills while you create a beautiful, heirloom quality case

In this project you will learn how to set the stitch grooves & punch the holes with a stitching chisel.  It’s a very satisfying process, might just get you hooked on leather craft!  This kit the natural progression from our entry level kits (that come with pre-punched holes).  Don’t be afraid to jump right in with this as your first project either, there is a full build tutorial.  The skills and tools introduced in this kit are foundational for your ongoing exploration of the craft

Our kits are designed and manufactured in Fall City, WA.  We use premium materials and make every effort to use USA made components.  This case is made from high quality veggie tanned leather from Wickett & Craig - Buck Brown Harness (9 OZ case, 5-6 OZ sides)

What’s in the kit:

  • All leather components, pre-cut with snap installed (Wickett&Craig, USA)
  • USA Made Harness Needles (C.S. Osborne, USA)
  • Waxed Poly Thread (Maine Thread Company, USA)
  • TogetherMade Slicker | Groover Tool (homegrown here @ TogetherMade)
  • Sandpaper
  • 0.5 OZ tin of Smith’s Leather Balm (Smith’s Natural, USA)
What you need that is NOT in the box:
  • Stitching Chisel – we recommend using the 4-prong chisel we sell with the kit here or the set of chisels we sell in our store, the pattern and instructions are based on this tool (Made in USA by C.S. Osborne)
  • Punching Mat – you can use a thick piece of scrap leather or plastic cutting board
  • Mallet - for driving the stitching iron
  • A Belt – if you don’t have a great veggie tanned leather belt, check out our DIY belt kit

We offer the following tools in our store that work great with this kit and our other leather working projects:

NOTE: This case is designed for the Buck 110 Folding Hunter Knife - this version of the case kit does not fit Leatherman multi-tools.  Fits belts up to 2 inch
