ACT
TogetherMade is proud to be partnering with the Issaquah School District's Academy for Community Transition (ACT). The ACT program works to provide essential skills and experiences to special education students transitioning out of the school system.
ACT students have been helping with all sorts of TogetherMade projects. They are building and painting boxes, cutting and folding materials, sorting parts, packaging products - there isn't much in the fall lineup that ACT hasn't helped with in some way. I've had the opportunity to visit their classroom while they are working on TogetherMade projects as well as host some of the students in our shop as they delivered their work. The kids and staff are really amazing and we're blessed to be able to work with them.
Here's some photos of ACT students and staff on a site visit to our shop.
